Our installation process

Step 01

Site survey

We visit to assess your property, room sizes, insulation levels and heating requirements. No charge, no obligation.

Step 02

System design and quote

We calculate the heat loads, specify the right radiators and pipework design, and give you a detailed fixed-price quote.

Step 03

First fix pipework

All pipework is run to radiator and boiler positions, neatly and with minimal disruption to decoration where possible.

Step 04

Boiler and radiator fit

Boiler installed, radiators hung, all connections made. The system is filled, tested and pressure-checked.

Step 05

Commission and certify

Full commissioning to manufacturer requirements, Building Regulations notification submitted, certificates issued.

Central heating FAQs

A typical central heating installation in an average three or four-bedroom property takes around 3–5 days. Larger properties, properties requiring significant pipework routing or those with multiple zones may take longer. We'll give you a clear schedule with your quote.

Yes. Installing a new boiler or complete heating system is notifiable to Building Control. We submit all the necessary notifications on your behalf and issue the relevant completion certificates so your records are in order.

Absolutely. We regularly work alongside builders, plasterers and other trades on renovation and new build projects. We'll coordinate with your project schedule to carry out first fix at the right time and return for second fix once plastering is complete.

Yes, with some practical guidance from us. We'll make sure radiators are correctly sized for each room and positioned where they'll work efficiently — typically under windows for best heat distribution. We're happy to discuss your preferences at the survey stage.

Yes. We can install and configure smart thermostats including Nest, Hive and Worcester Wave as part of any installation. Smart controls can significantly improve comfort and energy efficiency — ask us at the quote stage.
